This is a video slideshow with music that I put together for the January 2004 Black Belt Spectacular. All of the shots are from the 14 week Training Cycle and the 3 day Power Weekend. The files are all in Quicktime movie format. A link to the free Quicktime player is below for those people who cannot currently play Quicktime movies.
The videos can either be played in your browser, or can be saved to your computer to play later or repeatedly. To play the movie in your browser right now, just click one of the links below. To save the movie to your computer, click on the link using the RIGHT mouse button, and choose "Save Target As .." from the menu that will pop-up. Save the movie to somewhere on your computer (try the Desktop) and just click on the file icon later to play it. [These direction are for Internet Explorer on a PC - If you're using anything else, you're on your own].
For the best image, about as good as the original version as I can get it on my PC, download the large file. This is about 37 MB in size, and will take 2 to 5 minutes over a cable modem, depending upon how busy the system is. If you have a fast connection, this file is more than worth the wait. If you're still using a phone line to connect, it's barely possible to download on a 56K modem (nearly 3 hours for the 37MB and up to 6 hours on a 28.8K phone line).
If you've got a phone modem, download one of the two smaller files. The small file has good image quality, but a smaller image size. This is about the biggest file (7MB) I would try to download over a phone connection. It will take about 30 minutes on a 56K modem, and about twice as long on a 28.8K phone connection. On a Broadband connection it should take about 1 minute to download, but since you pay for that fast connection, wait for the larger file above.
There is a tiny file version of the slide show for people with slow phone connections. It will take up to 20 minutes on a 28.8K modem (but only seconds on a broadband connection). It's somewhat disappointing to watch and listen to, but it gives you a flavor of the show.
